Student access and assessment, connected

Starting point

An academic program renewing its learning platform while retaining student access and existing information.

What we built

A learning management system connecting student login, multimedia lessons, assessment, and administration.

Who uses it

Students, teaching staff, and program administrators.

Our role

Platform development, student access integration, data migration, infrastructure setup, and staff training.

An academic program needed to renew its learning platform while keeping student access connected to the institution's existing login service. Node59 developed the learning management system, integrated student access, migrated the data, and prepared staff through demonstrations and training. Teaching materials, multimedia lessons, assessment, and administration now share one environment, giving the program a connected platform that fits its students and the people responsible for teaching.

Connecting the platform to student access

Node59 integrated the learning environment with the program's existing student login service. Students enter lessons and assessment through the access path they already use, and the platform remains connected to the institution's established processes. The integration keeps access familiar for returning students while giving staff a clear relationship between the application and its users. Learning begins within the program's existing account structure.

Giving teaching materials a shared home

Articles, video, audio, multimedia lessons, and online seminars sit within the same learning environment. Students can move between formats while retaining the course context, and teaching staff have a shared place to organize the material. The content structure supports students returning throughout the day, keeping the resources relevant to each learning activity together and reducing the need to search across separate locations.

Connecting participation with assessment

Quizzes and assessment sit alongside teaching materials, registration, and staff reporting. Students can move from the material to the related assessment within the same platform, while staff can follow participation and the teaching activity behind it. Connecting those records gives the program a clearer view of learning and review, with assessment remaining part of the course rather than a separate administrative process.

Carrying the program into its next platform

Node59 migrated student information from the existing environment and prepared staff through demonstrations and training. The transition brought the application, its records, and the people running it forward together. Students have a connected place for learning and assessment, while teaching staff and administrators have the information and preparation needed to operate the renewed platform. Delivery included the practical handover required for everyday use.

Where the pieces come together

The institution's student login API connects to a learning environment with multimedia content management, assessment, migrated records, and supporting infrastructure.

Access integration

Integration with the existing student login API connects platform access to the institution's established student accounts.

Multimedia delivery

Content management organizes articles, video, audio, online seminars, and learning activities within the course environment.

Platform transition

Student data migration, infrastructure setup, demonstrations, and staff training carry the program into the renewed platform.
